Something dug up my purple and white gladiolus. It was the flower that had put up a plethera of baby shoots. I've done my best to slavage what remains. I'm not sure how well I did. I got the main plant replanted but it doesn't have any fine roots on it. Then I replanted the bulb that didn't have an stem attached. Then I replanted the clump of baby bulbs without stems. And I replanted a couple of the baby stems tha had bulb like roots with a few fine hairs roots on them. I'm hoping something out of the group survives and that whatever tore it up will leave it alone.

Anyone know of anything I can do to protect it that won't poison all the neighborhood pets that run free around here?
