No it's the side of the window that doesn't open,, the opening side has a screen on it,,, I just cleaned those windows a few days ago, I did take a picture thru the screen because it was a direct shot,, but they didn't turn out well,, as why the angle you see the juvie from is from his back side,, because I had to move down further to the unscreened window the fence is about 7 feet from my window,

My baby Robins left the nest a couple of days ago, too.

Thanks Lynne and Shirley!,, as of late I've see a lot of adults and juvie's and as Thorney said,, they are leaving the nest's now!

Now is the FUN time of the year for bird photographers. Baby, Fledgling, and Juvenile birds are looking and acting hilariously. Clumsy and awkward, they are trying to look cool and grown-up whilst flying and landing......and they FAIL often! I was sitting at the waiting area of the clinic Friday, when I heard a WHAM! behind my head on the window. A juvenile Robin had flown right into the glass. He staggered up and said, "I'm O.K. I meant to do that.", and flew away sheepishly.
