I planted some. Do I grow them like hot peppers?

All I can think of that's different is spacing. Hot peppers prefer to be crowded somewhat. Sweet need more room, in general, especially since many are larger peppers like bells, but many peppers don't fit precisely into a category...no real difference between hot bananas and sweet, or hot cherries and sweet, anaheims are classified as "hot," and I'm not sure about things like Pimientos.
It would be good to see what the definitions are, but they're mostly arbitrary.
