I have a Sanseveria triafscata that's pretty established and bulging in the pot. I figured it was time to transplant.
However, I noticed a millipede or two or three in the soil and around the roots. I heard that I can soak the pot for 1-2 hrs before transplanting and rinsing roots to get rid of them before transplanting.
What do you think?

I checked a few sites and they all said to take the plant out of the pot, rinse all the dirt off the roots, clean the pot really good and replant. The key seems to be removing ALL the dirt from the root and the pot before replanting.

Millipedes feed on decaying plant matter. I doubt that will ever harm your Snake Plant. Millipedes may damage seedlings, but seldom bother mature plants.
