Here is a picture I took about 2 1/2 years ago at The Tennessee State Museum of the ORIGINAL American Flag that was named Old Glory. It was made here in Nashville, TN, and has been cared for, for generations, by the family who made it BY HAND and named it Old Glory. This is the ACTUAL flag, almost 200 years old...... (and the ACTUAL Thorn, almost 57 years old, reflected in the glass taking its picture) OLD GLORY (and Thorn) ![[Linked Image]](http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a327/Thornius/OldGloryandThorn.jpg)

I just might have to take a trip to TN. I'd love to see that flag.

The Tennessee State Museum is in downtown Nashville, in the lower floors of TPAC The Tennessee Performing Arts Center. It is about 1 block from the Tennessee State Capitol Building......and the admission is FREE! I'm not sure if Old Glory is still there. I think it was on loan and may not be there now.

Thanks. I'll check out where it is. Maybe another museum has it. I really would love to see it.
