OP kennyso The Man Joined: May 2006 Posts: 3,540 Ontario, Canada	I'm really proud...I started all the cannas that I have (except for 3)from seed. I remember when I was starting one batch of seeds (there were 8 seedlings), I accidently left the window open when the temp outside dropped to 4*C and I had just taken the seedlings out of the baggie I was using as a greenhouse. They turned brown like this, but they recovered. Could it be that it's too humid and cool? Helping the world one seed at a time When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it. If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant. Mary Ann LaPensee
