OOOOOOOOOOOO I want green tomatoes----bad news is the 'kids' want me to fry them some----so I guess even when I get some I will not get to eat any----for first anyway.  AND at the rate I am going it will be August before I get any toms--green OR red.

you should take the first bite when it comes out of the pan. Do you flour them or use corn meal?

I use flour, and often a milk or milk & egg wash first.--salt & pappsaer as well thanks for the advice--I think I will take it!!!!

I want some!  Yes you can sure say that again!!!! I may try to find myself a farmer's market this weekend--they should have some green tomatoes for sale.
