praying for dodge and her family as they mourn the loss of her brother in law. and for all our forum family as they live with their own trials and joys.
I just had an email from dodge and she is doing fine. She will post when she can. The funeral isn't until Monday. She did say that he had been on life support since Monday and when they removed all that he didn't respond.
Barb My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time. I hope you take comfort in knowing that you are not alone as you go thru this. We are here for you, to do what we can to help you.

Johnny was my mother's youngest brother; my grandmother had him at age 47 at a time when some of her older children were already married w/ kids of their own. So Johnny was more like his older siblings kids than another sibling, so he was very close to his nieces and nephews.
Johnny loved me in particular and we were very very close until he grew up and got married & had sons of his own. He must have been 14 years older than me.
Now my Uncle Len, at age 86, is the only surviving sibling from my grandmother's 14 children, nine of whom lived to adulthood. It has been a tough year for the family because we've lost an aunt & an uncle and one of the aunt-in-laws. So I will call Uncle Len tonight and check to see how he & Aunt Doris are doing.
Merme
We were given two hands to hold, two eyes to see, two ears to listen & two legs to walk. But why were we given only one heart? The other heart was given to another for us to find.
Please pray for Jimmy,, The Doc' has put him on a very low sodium diet, and new medicines a few weeks ago. Only Fresh fruit and veggie's no seeds in either, which leaves little of both to choose from, very little meat baked or broiled only and lots of water. We all know how expensive Fresh fruits and veggies are, which limits again his choices. He was already experiencing dizziness,, but it has progressed. He's lost a lot of weight very quickly. He's weak and can't hold in anything he eats today. Friday He and I met for lunch, I could see in his face he wasn't feeling well. Those of us that Know Jimmy AKA Mr."I'm alright" insist he's OK as he had to get his bearings when he stood up after lunch ~ again he was dizzy. and took a couple of minutes before he could walk to his truck,, & I worried as he drove away. I just heard from him a few minutes ago,, he is dizzy now even as he sits ,, I told him to call Jolene even tho she is 50 miles away,,, at least give her a heads up so she is prepared to meet him at a hospital or call Me I'll take you to ER,, I don't know what's going on with him Physically this moment but he needs to see a dr right now I believe! I know he has another operation or procedure on the 28th. I also know he is worried and it's stressing him out really bad. Please remember Jimmy in your prayers He has a lot going on,, I'm not at liberty to disclose publically in detail what's going on internally but just know he needs healing, and our prayers now.
