Here is the Froggie I been quoting about......When anything passes the front of it , even grass , it croaks...... I have it at my backdoor and everyone gets the greatest kick out of it .. Run by batterys......I had it for years in my veggie garden to get rid of varmints.
Haley comes sunday an she will love it . I wanna see the frogs she always says..LOL
Hope you like it ......Plastic critter. Never seen another one.. b
Cute, Dodge! I had bought one that was supposed to do the same thing - looked different though. I thought it would help scare the deer away, but it you couldn't even hear it when it made the sound it was sooooooooo low - even with brand new batteries, so I returned it.

Glad yours works!
Lynne....have you tried a motion activated sprinkler? That would scare the deer away for sure. I'm not sure about the other critters but might be worth trying.
We haven't tried a motion detector sprinkler yet. Right now we are having to buy a UV filter for our pond and that is going to eat up any surplus funds we have right now. Plus, we have inground sprinklers, and don't really have a spare hose to hook one up to right now.
Thanks for the suggestion though, Jessica, it's a good one.
Well this time its now funny. All 5 of us have the Croup.Very contagious and Haley went to the Peditirtion, she is ok. I suppose we picked it up the week before when we were there.
So everyone stayed home to heal.. Hubby is still pretty nasty today.. I am better.. Cough and sneeze till the ribs and stomach aches.. He has a nasty sore throat .................Right now. First you freeze, then you sweat , it isnt nice.. b
Thanks for the kind words.. Son called tonite, could hear Haley swuealing on the phone. She is better now .........I am better now hd is the worst but improving.
Thats the good news........Now more bad news. My only sister's, husband went into cardiac arrest last nite , heart stopped and breathing at 4:15.. They revived him.. He is breathing normal an on oxygen, but they say the future isnt bright.......All we can do is pray/
She does have 3 married kids and 7 grandkids to support her.. Guess this isnt our year .. thanks for caring..
Now their granddaughter just sent a message, pap is being kept alive with machines right now. Not doing good at all.. He was a mere 120 pound . Cancer of lungs and sliding greatly. He did manage to fish with the grandkids about a month ago..
This is so hard to believe......Not our year at all.
oh my. That doesn't sound good at all dodge, lung cancer and a heart attack. How is your sister holding up?
Oh MY Barb, I have just read this. I came to check & see how you were doing and gosh to see what you had to say. My deepest sympathies to the whole family.
I will be praying.

For thinking of me.. Death isn't my favorite.. Tears come too easy for me, this sis is more quiet an only lives for her hubby and kids......They adore the grandkids.. So I know it is hard ..The one grandkid writes and she is only 11, and taller than me.. Smart tho.
Just praying to comfort them all.. I didnt sleep well last nite.

Croup is the most contagious during the first days of fever and illness. A lingering cough can last another two weeks. Just be sure to cover your mouth and nose when you cough or sneeze, throw away kleenex and wash your hands often.
Now I had gone for groceries.. when I arrived home ,, neice had a message.. Sis /son were going down to the hospital.. Some speculation the other nite , upset her badly. The nite he went into cardiac arrest, it was caused by lack of oxygen.. Apparent the girl on the 4 am shift wasnt doing something correct.
She is terribly upset...... Nothing against hospitals when needed.
But the doc kill the other sis with dogoxin poisoning.
Sis if florida was kill by perionitis.. They didnt know what she had till it killed her .
Another sis got infection in nursing home , lack of care kidney failure, of cours death..
Not all in the row.. But I am sure learning. Sorry to pout..
yes Jessica is correct, Barb, I have learned the hard way you have to be very proactive in your medical care. I sit here with a total mesh hernia repair, that may only last 10 years and I have recovered from pneumonia 3 times, during all of this, because of bad medical care. I should have only ever had a simple hysterectomy---but no.....
I now make VERY sure of who my drs are, and where I go if hospitalization is needed.
and then there was my uncle who was in a vetrans hospital. His DD went to see him he was fine & laughing--she was back at our place about 15 minutes (it is a 45 minutes drive from here to there) and she got a call saying he had passed. Somebody did something wrong, but nothing could ever be proved.
it is to live and to learn I guess.
Again my sympathies

So true Carol Jean. You better not go to the hospital unless you have family who can stay with you. And when I go to the doctor I take notes. Remember a while back my primary MD increased my thyroid med instead of lowering the dose. If I didn't know a little bit about what was happening I could have had a heart attack. I called and asked questions 4 times and each time the nurse said she asked him and he said the dose was correct. It took an endocrinologist, more bloodwork and more money out of my pocket to prove him wrong. I think doctors and nurses are just plain overworked (I know hospital nurses are) and they aren't thinking straight. We have to advocate for ourselves and our own families.
Please keep us posted dodge and don't be sorry. We're asking and want to know.
Yes Sheri, I do rememebr that--you are so very lucky that you are the person you are. Barb, Sheri is right, we are here for you, we are asking and we want to know--AND we are here when you need to talk.
