With a recent relocation, I have an asparagus bed which yielded many delicious cuttings in the spring. When we tired of asparagus, I allowed the stalks to mature. Now the stalks have grown 4 feet or so and are bushy, some have green berries on them, etc. Should these be cut back, do they need to die off w/ frost, etc. What should I do??

you should allow them to continue to grow/go to seed. don't worry about cutting back until late fall or early spring...if you wait to spring, then all you need to do is remove the dead stuff.

you can actually continue to harvest for another month or so even and then let them go/grow. you can do that next year (too late now since you already let them grow)
