I have had no luck at starting basil from seed. is there some secret trick to getting basil seeds to sprout? I have tried, soaking in water, covering with a little soil, covering with lots of soil and not covering at all.
Can someone provide guidance?

teach Basil seeds require a constant soil temperature of 70* F. for approximately 7-10 days for germination. Only cover the seeds lightly with fine soil...
