hello all enjoying all ur posts and replies. i am having a problem with my cantaloupe, which i am growing on my patio in georgia. My plant is very nice, healthy, blooms like crazy, but i dont have any bees, so i dont get many melons, anyway when i do get a melon it starts out looking great and then by the time its the size of a walnut it starts turning yellow, rots and falls off, a new one is already growing by then and the circle starts all over. i never have more than one melon and it doesnt live long. sorry this doesnt seem to be working for me hopefully i can get an answer without an image.

2 questions to start with. 1, where in georgia are you, and 2, are you hand pollinating the flowers if you don't have any pollinators?

I live about 25 miles northwest of Savannah and no i am not hand pollenating someone said i didnt need to as the plant will produce some flowers that are both male and female, i'm assuming that is what produced the melons i've gotten so far.
