Since the majority of us have camera's and like posting pictures,, many of us carry around a camera just about everywhere we go. I believe if that's what you do then it's considered a hobbie I think we need a place to post our fun pictures,, and creative pictures thru editing programs and share them,,, or give advice how to be more creative,, or sharpen/ enhance our photos and Just have fun with them,, or show random pictures of everyday life.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
keep in Mind, all Bird pictures should still be in the bird forums, flowers in the flowers thread, critters in the critters thread, so we don't bog this thread up with posted pictures that should have been posted else where ,, **(UNLESS your bird or flower or critter picture has a creative flair in it by using a photo editing program to distort it somehow creatively,) ** Nor can you post someones else's Poster/ or cartoon sayings,, these should be your OWN pictures,, and Not taken from the internet elsewhere. We have so many creative minds here, I think this will not only be a fun thing but also interesting,, Even if your random picture isn't creative with a spin to it it's okay they don't have to be unless as stated above, we have lots of sunsets, moons and stars, parties, black and white pictures,, etc out there that would be cool to see! I wanna see what 'Cha got Some of us know programs that are easy to add animations to your picture I'll be happy to share that and help you I don't know a lot but I know I could get you started. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Wanna give this a try??

Here is a picture of my Granddaughter (herMother gave permission to post it) I used paintnet editor and click on Effects "Twist" distort on the flowers your can make the twist(s) as large or as small as you want and anywhere you want on the picture,, I also clicked on "clone stamp" under tools to clone the back ground to eliminate the flower stems so they wouldn't show,, with that tool,, you click on the dark area and move it like you would be erasing something on the green stem the stem is still there you just can't see it because I made it the same color as the back ground, or moved the back ground on top of it as it were. this was before I used the creative tools

I'd never thought of it as a hobby but you're right Diane. Thanks for thinking of it. That said I love the photos especially Shirley's lips but I don't know how to do the fancy stuff. I'll enjoy looking at everyone elses though.

Well...I didn't do anything creative with this but the moon was so gorgeous when I got home this evening that I had to take a picture of it near the flag out front, which I thought was appropriate for the 4th. Actually the moon tonight looked like Diane's moon, but my camera just won't take those kind of close ups of the moon. But I like this picture, anyway.

very nice Shirley. This is all I can figure out how to do. It is queen ann's lace that I greyscaled and then colored blue. I love that Sheri,, it looks Like you gave it 3 distinct layers almost like a 3D effect from the very center of your picture!Very Cool! Good Idea Shirley printing it out for wrapping paper Oh and I Like the pictures your grandaughter took of your flowers I have it saved and as soon as I get more ink for the printer I'm going to frame those I love those pictures~ The Pictures don't have to be creative,, Like Shirley's Flag and Moon.. It makes a Great Statement. but it's fun experimenting isn't it. Shirley I believe you have that in Paintnet the same distort tool as Thorny, I was thinking you have paintnet???

Yes, I do have PaintNet....and we spent several hours on here and the phone one night, you teaching me how to do stuff. I'll check it out and see if I remember anything you told me. (yes I was listening to you) You know how well my "forgetter" works
