I cropped the picture off the webcam to see the Finch on the tube feeder better,, I love the look on it's face Looks like it's looking up at the web cam and saying, " is that thing on ,Am I on camera?? " ,,,,,,,,

There are about 300 "volunteers" out there. Many are short and just beginning to produce their spike. It is very hard to walk up the pathway without brushing by the Foxgloves on both sides. They don't belong where they are, but there was no way that I could tear them up. Next fall I will transplant many of them somewhere or another... I'll try to get a dusk pix of the Bus Stop, but its thunderiffic out here, so I must shut down for now...
Is it rainy there today Bill?? I see on the side bar it's only 62 degree's ~ that's pretty cool for this time of year for you isn't it?
It is normally about 10*-15* warmer here (2 weeks ago it was in the nineties) It has cooled down considerably lately and we got some MUCH needed rain in the past 5 days...
Uhhhh tell Me One more time what the purple blooming large plant is again on the left of the driveway is,, Please Why can't I remember after asking you the last 2 years??

I just looked at the weather of Cedar Hill ,, What a gorgeous day your having there, well compared to Tx anyway Wish I was there this evening you'll have clear skies ~ what an awesome view of the stars you'll have Are you going to shoot any fire works there this evening Bill,,? I could watch it on TV But I'd rather see some on the Web cam

I am doing absolutely nothing (but margaritas) all day. I spent the past 3 long, hard days trying to get my computer restored after a ghost in the cave caused a MAJOR crash. I had to format 4 times before I finally got the ghost exorcised from drive CDH (the ghost created his own drive with a mix of all three drives) I had to re-install the camera and webcam software (and everything else) to turn it back on today. Unfortunately you won't see any CH fireworks today, but the birds are out there... ..............................................................
Gee, I'm sorry to hear about all the tech troubles you have had, Bill. Something like that would have simply overwhelmed me. Glad you got it all figured out!
Now that I have a better pc & monitor, I can more easily see photos here, so it is great to look at what I've been missing. I'm glad you have a web cam.

We were given two hands to hold, two eyes to see, two ears to listen & two legs to walk. But why were we given only one heart? The other heart was given to another for us to find.
OMG I'm glad you got the Ghost exorcized It's scarey when things happen to our computers especially when things take over on their own, and it's dang near a career to straighten things back up again. Thanks for getting the Web cam going again and I could use one of those margarita's my self ,,, I don't have any tequila tho ...... hmmmmm But I DO have orange Dream cycle and some vodka,, BRB,,,, Going to go get some of that

The big "plan" is to get the birds comfortable with the camera right there... on top of the swamp cooler... that I can make some 5 minute videos for the side bar.... someday.....
They always seem to fly away a second before the camera clicks (every 5 minutes) Some times there are a dozen or more song birds on cam at a time.... uhhhhh... really, there are! They are still a little wary of the new feeder.
Oh man Bill! this has been a rough few months with your 'puters there I have faith you'll get everything Fix'd even better than before! Wishing for rain for You,, we finally got a good down pour ~ praying it heads NorthWest.

I love the monitor that came with my new pc... I can FINALLY see the pictures from the web cam clearly! YAY!
Ain't technology lovely?!

most of the time...... Apparently my birds have seen the weather forecasts of 90-100+ temps for the next week/10 days and have moved down to the river woods to keep cool, so even if I had the cams installed there wouldn't be much to see right now.... Hopefully I have removed all of the ghosts in the cellar and have my main computer fixed this time and I will get the web cams operational again by the time my birdies come back to CH. After 20 years of looking, I have finally found a company that will bring tankers of water to me, so my gardens will get their rain by artificial means and survive the summer.
Congrats on the water find, Bill. I have hired a water truck to come spray my hillside twice when our well broke down. Now my neighbor has one. I haven't needed any help from him but it is nice to know it is there. You don't appreciate water so much as when you don't have any.
