 Hi Diane , And a big thank you......It was so hard to photograph. Kept blurring. It looks like wax in person........First I ever seen a bloom, other than the ones you showed us. Now is it a certain type of Hoya? b

There are many varieties of Hoya's It Goes by the leaf shape and color and bloom shape and color,, scent or not, My blooms have the faint scent of chocolate,, while others do not smell at all while others just as you said smell odd. yes the blooms do look like wax,, Hense the name " Wax plant" comes into play as some others call it. remember DO NOT cut off the bloom just let it die and leave the spur alone and it will rebloom from that spur over and over again from now on!

It suprises me , texas an all the industrys and you have to travel so far to work.....
I always thought it was easy to find work in big cities.

It was fairly easy for me to find the job But Most places you have to work 1 year before they give a vacation.
I plan to go see my Mother in October she turns 80.
