Could this be the origin of the Grape Tomato???
"Mr. Davidson, gardener to Mrs. Marson, Highfield, Winchfield, contributed a curious long-stalked round-berried Tomato - the result of a cross between the Red Currant Tomato and Hathaway's Excelsior. It is called the Grape Tomato, and is certainly most elegant in form, and evidently very prolific."
