Cindy I have a lady friend that has her late husbands Congo African Gray. He is depressed pulling out feathers the whole mess. Her vet. gave her some drops to give him told her ether in his water or directly into his mouth. When she puts it in his water she leaves the romm with the dish puts it in the water he will not drink it instead he will try to spill it or wont drink at all. When she tried to put it in his mouth he bites chunks out of her arm as you know they can. She said if she hadn't promised her husband to take care of the bird she would have already gave it away or sold it. Do you have any suggestions on some way to get this medication into Chester( I think that is what she callas him among other names.) Any help will be appreciated.

Cindy the husband has been dead about 5 years. Also the lady cared for Chester while her husbaband suffered with cancer . At thew end Chester could not bee around the man due to his mmedicines and the reation to feqthers they caused. As for as I know Chester and the mom get along fine she said trhis is the first problem she has ever had with him. Her vet told her to use a glove so he can't bite her but like Trent he sees a glove he goes beserk he is on anti depressants. She said he has been ok since the dad died outside of calling for him and trying to get to the bedroom where he was. Thank you for youe help. I am @ the hospital waitingf for my doctor who is now 3 hours late for my procedure due to a complicatged surgery @ Baylor hosp.
