You don't need to register to see the pics :) Even though it's classified as a 'city' it has great small town charm! And there's a huge church on top of a hill that looks like Notre Dame cathedral in France! I don't have any pictures of the campus, but I should be able to get some after I move in (Sept 5) They have an arboretum filled with native trees and perennials (plant sale the first Saturday I move in...talk about lucky, because I should have to come home to pick up things i left behind, and can plant right away!) and a conservatory greenhouse. There are pictures of the campus from their 'official' site.

Wow, Kenny! It is beautiful. Of course I'm not seeing any winter photos there. I am so personally proud of you as though you were my own.
I know you will be super busy and working hard. But I hope you have time to drop by here sometimes and let us know how everything is going.

I spent some more time really looking at your school, Kenny. It really is beautiful. You can share as many details here as you would like. As I was looking through the online brochure, I was wondering what type of housing you were requesting. I couldn't remember what you planned on for a major. It all raised more questions than I had answers.

looks good, Kenny. It put me in the mind of the university that my oldest went to in seward nebraska. Some older buildings & some new state of the art.

Thank guys, I really appreciate it! I applied for Plant Science and I don't have to choose my major yet. I'm kinda glad I have the time to think, because it seems every aspect of plants has its own major: disease (pathology), growth and evolution, plant anatomy (botany), all the way down to good old planting and growing (applied plant sci). I have a single room in the largest dorm building, which I can't wait to move into (nervous yes...but it'll pass!) There's a cafe that serves 'home style' food on the ground floor, and each room (yes, every room) has a balcony!

Thanks for the info, Kenny. I know you will do well, and the room, and the balcony sounds very nice!!! Treasure these times, thay are one of the great experiences of life.

Cool on the single room. I was checking out the different floor plans and decided I would go for the balcony one if I could, too.
