okay so yes i am new and my tomato plants are sooo big they are tipping over and the same thing happened last year. are there too many tomatoes on the plant? should i remove some? help would be greatly appreciated. thanks

YIKES!! Heavens no! You are rich!

If the plants are sprawling all over the place, don't worry. That's what most tomatoes (indeterminent varieties) do, especially at this time of year.

If you are worried that some tomatoes themselves are laying on the ground, where they *are* more susceptible to critters, etc. just put some straw or paper bags under them.

I'm sure others will chimes in, but I'm also pretty sure there is no such thing as "too many tomatoes"!!!

No, no such thing as 'too many tomatoes'.
tomato plants do grow up and up and fall over. your doing great! thumbup

I stake mine with the old political signs wires. They are always on my corner so I recycle. lol
I have alot this year and mine are also EVERYWHERE. bop
