4" pot for size reference, growing in partial shade in newly made bed this year, has not bloomed before

It looks a lot like sea lavender statice, Limonium perezii, to me. Without the blooms it is hard to tell.

thanks guys, but no it's not a hosta, nor Limonium - I didn't sow any of those. Someone suggested Cerinthe (which is one of the seeds that I scattered there this spring) and I was told, apparently, it's close to blooming.

Dunno', Kenny, but it shore looks like a nice plant!
