Here are some pictures of our new, now 5-month-old Tomcat I took yesterday. This cat is one of the friendlliest, most affectionate cats I have ever seen in my life and has permanently bonded to me and our dog. His name is Cherry. ![[Linked Image]](http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a327/Thornius/Cherry05.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a327/Thornius/Cherry07.jpg)

That second shot is awesome. You can see and almost feel the sparkle in his fur.

We now power ALL the electrical needs of our house off the static charge in his fur.

Nice cat, Thorn. Glad he is helping cut your power bill as well. Do you think the male cats are more friendly than the female ones? All of the really friendly cats I've known have been male.

Hard to say, Stevie. I had 15 adult cats at one time and the females SEEMED to be a little friendlier, but all of my males at that time were JERKS! Cherry is an INCREDIBLY affectionate, cuddly, and playful cat and LOVES to nap with me and/or the dog. The dog is CRAZY over the cat and treats him like a favorite little brother. The cat and rabbits are like, " Heeey! How ya doin?" (with a Brooklyn, New York accent). There is peace in our valley, Now.

Hi Dodge,
I can't remember how many cats I've known, but the funny thing is, all the ones that really stick in my memory as being friendly were males, so I was starting to wonder if there is something in my strange theory! We have 2 female cats, and they are friendly enough, but they still squirm a bit when you pick them up to cuddle them, so I do it just to stir them up!
Thorn, glad to hear your pets have a Brooklyn accent, as all talking animals should!
