I haven't been through the whole thing yet, but there's a tour of it tomorrow which I'm hoping to catch. I didn't explore too far, mainly because it was getting late, and the fact that I saw 'graveyard' whited out on the direction board...the though of tree roots piercing through skeletons and me accidentally stepping on someone's grave just freaked me out... But yeah, we're home to the province's (only, I think)agricultural college. There's a rose garden (kept with NO insecticide nor fungicide), Japanese garden, (close to) every native tree of Ontario, a lilac collection...tons of little gardens. The most interesting is probably the 'Gene bank' which I have yet to discover. ![[Linked Image]](http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a383/kennyso/019.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a383/kennyso/018.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a383/kennyso/017.jpg)

Helping the world one seed at a time When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it. If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant. Mary Ann LaPensee

Some interesting facts:
-a section of the garden was designed by the same landscape architect who designed Central Park in New York
-the arboretum was modeled after the one at HarvardU, which is about 100 years older
I would love to work part time there (oh the financial difficulties of the college student :( ) but I'm guessing volunteering there would look equally as well on my resume...hopefully

Cool, Kenny. I do hope the job there could work out for you. It is beautiful and would be satisfying to help keep it that way.
