I like BLUE! thumbup
I've always liked blue! luv
Maybe because I'm a September sapphire baby? why

Blue is an accent color that I am using a lot out by the pond - Don just painted the adirondack chair that he built for me a very nice shade of blue - took me 2 trips to the paint store to finally select just the right shade. I had been looking and looking and LOOKING for blue pots all summer. I finally found one place - Metropolitan Plant Exchange in NJ that had a SLEW of blue pots, but their prices were waaaay out of my budget! Though I did get 3 small ones there. thumbup

Anyway... now I know WHY I have had such a hard time finding blue ceramic pots this summer! Last night I was catching up on about a month's worth of newspapers, and there in front of my eyes was this article - "As the retail sector wilts, garden-supply stores thrive". That caught my attention, and as I was reading the article, the author quoted 2 stores near my parents' house. The first one said "Blue and black glazed pots are more popular than ever. We've reordered those." The second nursery right next door to the first said "We've sold lots of cobalt blue pots. They're so eye-catching; they stand out nicely in the garden, and all flowers look beautiful in a blue pot."

AHA!!! - NOW I know why I was having such a hard time finding them! tapfoot

I know. I have been looking at pots lately. Blue is thin on the shelves or very pricey. Most of the pot choices are pretty boring even when not looking at the blue ones. I'm thinking of getting creative with hypertufa, myself.

Cobalt blue is my favorite color flower pot. I have a couple and love them. I bought them last year.
