Diane sent me Dahlia root. Sent me a baggie that said to mix with soil when planting.

I thought the stuff in the baggie was seeds - it was fertilizer for the root!

I was so busy planting some seeds this past weekend that I thought I'd experiment and try to plant a few of the pellets that I thought were seeds and put 1 or 2 in 6 peat pellets.

I'm still laughing here Diane!!!

But it takes a courageous person to post about it and tell us - thanks for the chuckle, and I'm glad you were able to laugh at yourself!

I wondered why all the pellets were different colors - thought they were different color flowers!

I use to think the pretty colored pop corn kernels were suppose to pop into pretty colored popcorn!!
I was sooooooo disappointed after it was popped!
(That hasn't been all that long ago, either! )

Patty that is sooo funny !!! It takes a big person to admit to that,, A big "Pat" on the back for determination to get the best out that bag of dahlia fetilizer. Tooooo Funny!!! Welllllll at least now you know ~~right?? If you had shared them with your Mom she probably would have thought " Why are these people at GH sending you seeds that don't grow " ~~ Happy planting there Patty I hope that Dahlia give you the biggest, best dahlia's you've ever seen!!
