Can anyone tell me what kind of bush this is.Please excuse my lack of knowledge.In the spring it blooms beautiful pink roses and after it is done blooming it produce these very large ??apples??. Any ideas.Thanks

can you post a pic of it??

if it has thorns on it, it probably is a rose bush. some roses only bloom once and the hip will develop into a little 'apple' after the bloom fades away.

could be something else though. if you can, please post a pic.

Could be a fruit tree of some sort. Obviously an apple tree or a crab apple tree. Pictures would help. So would geographical information on where do you live and the zone. Even late-blooming camellias could produce a fruit that looks like an apple (but it contains seeds instead).
