sent me a most wonderful birthday package - received it yesterday!
Thank you so very much, Carol!!!

Firstly... she uses a skein of yarn to help pack and cushion her gifts, which is a gift in itself - VERY clever!


Just LOOK at all the brightly wrapped presents - so exciting!
On the left is a wonderful notebook that Carol personalized for me - she took my orchid pictures that I posted here in the forums and put that on the front and back covers, and inside she put plastic protective pages chock full of information on growing my type of orchids!!! Extra plastic pages were included for me to add information to my personalized plant book - again so clever of Carol and very creative as well!


On the right side of the picture above is a terrific magazine, full of beautiful gardening pictures and lots of info on "budget garden secrets" - perfect! And a plant stake that says "RELAX" - again - PERFECT!!!

Here are most of the gifts that were wrapped - each one very thoughtfully chosen - some even bought while Carol was on her vacation in Tennessee! There is a blue ceramic pot strawberry pot style - I need to find just the right plants for that! A pretty blue (of course!) tart warmer - I have always wanted one but never bought one for myself - I am so happy to finally have one! And some yummy scented candles to try out a few different scents in the warmer - I love the way each one smells and look forward to using them all!

A VERY pretty blue (!) wallet - the new kind where it snaps shut and stays very thin - perfect for the smaller purses I carry to outings where a large bag doesn't work.

A beautiful silver/beaded bookmark with the initial "L" on a charm - now I REALLY have to find another book to read so I can use it!!!

And the card!!! I have never seen a pop-up card like this one - it opens up to a bouquet of flowers in a pot with the nicest saying on it - so cool!

Though this was one of the smaller gifts, it certainly made a HUGE impact!
We have been each others confidant for some time now and this magnet could not be more true!
