Oh, no! I knew more surgery was coming up, I didn't know when. My prayers for her, I hope our little problem child knows how much love we share for her.
I was talking to a prof about how medical technology has advanced so much, that nearly every surgery is a success, and I couldn't help but think of Cindy. Hope she's hanging in there doing fine.

So true, thank God. That's comforting to consider.
Cindy's surgery was postponed after she got to the hospital. They decided that they needed to remedy a condition and do some more tests... or something. That Is all I know...

Last night I tried to call Cindy because I figured she might be worried about this latest surgery.--I got her voicemail & so I left her an encouraging message. This evening, around 5pm my time, she called me, while she was waiting for Leslie. She said she had called Bill, but was worried he would not get the voicemail she left. She said that the doctors determined she was not strong enough to have the surgery today. Apparently most of the nourishment that she takes in she also expells. She said they would be doing "tests & stuff" and said they hoped to be able to do the surgery the week after next.
I think she is pleased with this new Dr. she has. He apparently is very knowledgeable (is that a word?) about ARDS.
I promised I would post this so I am.

Thanks so much for updating us here, Carol, and for being a great friend to Cindy, especially in her time of need. I'm sure it helps her immensely to be able to talk with someone who has such a wonderful way of comforting people when they need it most!
I will keep her in my thoughts and check for updates when they are available here.
Thanks for all the info and updates. My prayers always go up for Cindy. Ilove her dearly. Hang in there Cindy, and PLEASE know that I am ALWAYS on your side, even when you get upset with me. :ding:
