Just popping in to say hi! I've been busy lately but I'm still kicking. I have to go finish up the laundry and the girls will be home from soccer soon. Something is wrong with my "f" key and I have to push really hard to get that letter. Weird. Anyway, I'll try to get on here later or tomorrow. Hope everyone is well!
I got your comment Sheri and I posted a comment in response. I got your pm, Jiffy. I used to get email notifications of pm's but in the past I've had to go in to my settings and turn that on because it gets turned off for some reason. My "f" button seems okay now. No, I wasn't trying to over use that letter for anything. I did some shopping today. Stuff that I've been wanting and needing but have been putting off. Felt good to do some shopping for myself. I got free body butter too! We did the grocery shopping as a family, which was fun. Got all of my laundry done and put away, got my allergy shots done today, scheduled a hearing date at the courthouse, made dinner, did laundry, and did the grocery shopping. What a busy day. No wonder I feel so tired. Tomorrow all I have to do is try to find a prime rib for Aros's birthday dinner and go for my run in the morning. I also plan to re-design one of my facebook farms. Hard work there, hahaha. Anyway, hopefully I'll catch up with some of you tomorrow.
Good morning. I'm halfway through this cold and it is going well. I managed to do a few things that didn't require heavy physical labor yesterday so don't feel it is all wasted time. Little tedious stuff. We are to top triple digits with single digit humidity this week. Real fire danger stuff, there. So I hope to get more done. Plus fall plantings.

Wish I could send you some of our weather, Tina. We're supposed to top out at about 65 today and it was pouring earlier but is supposed to be one of those days that goes back and forth between rain and sun.
Yes it would be nice to be able to share bits of our weather around the country or the world. I dream of rain but if this El Nino year does produce I'll probably be wishing the rain gone soon enough.

I found a good butcher shop, drove up there and bought a 6 pound prime rib. Did the rest of the shopping that we didn't get done last night and then went for my run around the lake. I'm jogging for 25 minutes now, going up to 28 next week. Weather today was perfect, overcast and breezy. Got to use my new sweats too. I just put the ribs in the oven. I think for me I'll have a frozen dinner. Except for dinner I get to be lazy for the rest of the night. The girls have a soccer game tomorrow but other than that I can be lazy all day tomorrow too.
And good morning. Up early for a Sunday but so far I am feeling pretty good. I don't know if that is leftover cold meds or my cold easing off. This week we are to have triple digits and our first Santa Ana wind of the season. That is our seasonal fire danger highest point. I am hoping the pyromaniacs and arsonists all stay home.

Good morning. It's 8:30 here. Johnny is going to church and I'm going to Darbi's ballgame. My daughter, Ginger, is in town and is going to her game too. I'm supposed to be going to my nieces wedding shower in Asheville and my mother is upset that I'm not. Johnny's children are taking him out for his birthday lunch today and he's upset that I'm not going to that. But I say, both my children and all my grand children are going to this ballgame so where should I be? Originally Johnny's son had invited us to his house for the birtday dinner last Sunday and I was going but he changed it. I can't be everywhere at once. My mother says that my niece will never have another wedding shower but Darbi will have other games and Johnny says he'll never have his 57th birthday again and all that's true. But Ginger lives in GA and rarely gets home to see Darbi play and that's where I want to go. I went to Asheville for my nieces engagement party and I'll go to her wedding and I was with Johnny on Tuesday, which was his actually birth day. So my mind is set.
Hi Tina , Yes finally feeling better- takes a little longer each time to bounce back it seems, doesn't help a lot that the seasons are changing quickly here- today it's supposed to be 80 something and tomorrow drop to low 50's for the highs... so I have to get stuff done today - know tomorrow will be an achy day for me for sure.... so it will be a busy day for me.... got to get Mom started on breakfast and meds- then her shower and start the vacuum and dusting of the house... finish up the laundry ... and do a general pickup and clean out as I go- well it's breakfast time for Mom so gotta go..... Nana
Guess what. The games are cancelled due to rain. This is 30 minutes from my house and my house hasn't seen rain in 2 months. If you see my mother don't tell her.

if i see her, i'll tell her you got unavoidably delayed by rain
My dad,my little brother, and I caught a total of seven fish yesterday.Six bluegills and one catfish. My dad found a section of river that was full of bluegills;he caught three bluegills in less than three minutes.I caught two bluegills, but I had to work hard to get them. I have a lot of mosquito bites on me.I counted more than thirty on my right hand.
I have repaired the broken rain gutter. And cleaned part of it all of the pine needles while I was up on the ladder. I am deciding on how to 'construct' the next part of my project. And came in to grab a bite.
