i was given this plant when Gramma died. the person who gave it to me was told it was a prayer plant. i've always thought prayer plants were marantas, but i'd swear this is a calathea. so what do you think?

thanks lynne, glad i'm not crazy (crazier?) and tina, no i don't know if it closes at night. i won't know until i remember to bring it home to repot it.

It doesn't look like my prayer plant. Looks too thick and waxy to me.

So did ya' find out if the fridge light stays on when you close the door? That's about how much I'd know about whether plant flowers stay open at night - ha ha!
