Why doesnt someone take it upon them self on here an do a giant seed swap?

Every one send say 20 pkts of seed to one Person who wants to sort them, and try to give them their wishes .. Of course you have a list of wants and regrets.LOL

usually we have a moderator or long time member do the swaps. but the mods haven't been up to it, and neither have any of the members. so lately, we've been doing private swaps. but feel free to post what you have and what you wish for. someone might take you up on either/both!

Excuse my ignorance............

I don't have your types.
Of wants .

You know you would only get those in round robin by a small miracle.
most are common seeds ......However thanks for trying .
You have lots of the sameness that I have.

Boo hoo I cant help you.

TK, as a person who participated in the seed swaps I don't feel that you ruined it for us. It was the time, the situation and I'm sure there were reasons that those of us not running the forum didn't know about. Not to worry. I'll bet there will be swaps some time down the road.

I use to do one too, but I haven't felt like doing one in a couple years. I've been having some medical problems, (It flares up, goes away then it's back) leaves me feeling awful, and the reason I haven't been on line alot.

and it's true mostly you would get common flowers in a big swap, rarley do you get something you'd been waiting for on your list, best to post your want and see if anyone bites.

It's not a big deal about the seed swap. I think I participated in a seed swap here before. I was wondering if there was one done every year. Yes, there are some seeds I would love to have(because of my disease "seedstarteritis"). Do I have plenty of seeds, yes. Can I live with what I have, yes. Do I need more, no. We have some extremely gifted and knowledgable people on this site. I have been a member for a couple of years now and have recieved some very useful information. TK was the person who got me started with my seeds! Out of the kindness of her heart, she sent me a bundle of seeds when I was a newbie. If we can have a seed swap any more on this site then maybe we should shift our focus. Maybe we should start sending seeds to all newbies as a "Welcome to the site" gift! I have some seeds I can contribute!!!!!

That's a nice idea. I have received cards with seeds from people here many times. We can swap seeds on a personal basis. Keep your list updated and maybe closer to spring people will start trading and you'll receive some of your wishes.

I just send a collection to some lady this morning who is deserving.

Another lady needed a raincoat for her daughter, I sent it this morning.

Just remember one thing......
