I do. She's so sweet and Colby is the sweetest boy ever. I guess because he has two sisters and is bossed around all the time he goes along with whatever.
What cute kids, Sheri! You caught them just right, too.

We were given two hands to hold, two eyes to see, two ears to listen & two legs to walk. But why were we given only one heart? The other heart was given to another for us to find.
Sheri, They are so cute! grands are just about my most favorite people.....! Nana
Me too Nana.
I posted a video of Colby making brownies one time and he was doing a lot of talking. His accent is very noticeable, worse than mine I think. He's a good ole country boy for sure.
Poor Colby is so sick. He's missed 5 days of school counting today and has been to the doctor 3 times counting today. Aubry got sick at the same time but has been able to get over it and is going full force. Colby is thin to start with and now is nothing but bones. I'm so worried.
Oh Sheri , Our boys lost weight too... they just don't have an appitite at all- we did a lot of making their favs just to get a bite or two down them.... as he gets better it will come back... we added protein powder to juice and just about everything else we could get it into... even made blended fruit pops with some in it .... Nana
He doesn't have pneumonia but was given another antibiotic and Singulair and told to stop the steriod. When I called Shelley she was at the pharmacists and he had started vomiting. Shelley started crying. I left work 10 minutes early and met her and picked up Aubry so she and Colby can hopefully take a nap. The carpool lady is bringing Darbi home for her. I feel sorry for both of them.
Shelley got a call yesterday afternoon from Colby's pediatrician telling her that they had scheduled him an appointment with a pulmonologist today. I've haven't heard from her yet about how that appointment went.
Thank you all. The pulmonologist said that this particular H1N1 virus kills the cilia in the respiratory tract and for people with usually normal lungs and bronchi the cilia regenerate quickly. For those who have an already compromised respiratory system such as asthma, COPD, smokers or the like, it takes the cilia longer to regenerate therefore causing those people to have a harder time recovering, a longer lasting cough, and possibly residual damage. Since Colby has had a touch of asthma here and there he can't get over this because of all that. He got more prescriptions and hopefully will be on the mend soon. Thank you for thinking of him.
Thank you all for your prayers. He is still out of school, which means he's missed 10 days, but I think he'll be able to return Monday. The medicine from the pulmonologist seem to be doing the trick.
Sheri - sorry I haven't posted here before, but I am so glad that the medicine is finally helping Colby. I hope he is feeling more like himself very soon!
Colby had a terrible set back today where he was having trouble breathing again. He is coughing since until he vomits. Shelley called the pulmonologist who was out of the office. Now it hurts him so bad to cough and he is making another chirping sort of noise when he does cough. If it's still happening in the morning she's going to call his primary doctor but I don't know what the primary can do. It seems to me the primary turned him over to the pulmo person but maybe he'll be better than nothing.
I'm thinking I'd be taking him to urgent care or triage or Er whatever you have available there, Sheri. This flu is easy on most and slam dunks some with its worst side.
