This is my NEW Son-in-law, Paul. See if you can guess where he's from.

Hint: (It's NOT San Francisco)

Aye. He's from Sco'land. Falkirk to be exact, and brought me bottles of Irn Bru, Scottish candy, and Haggis recipes. He and I sit around the hoos and eat Mexican food which we both dearly love!

Paul says that actually You don't get cold at all in Winter. I felt of the material. It is 100% wool and MUCH thicker than denim. It looks to be 1/8 to 1/4 inch thick of pure wool.

I saw in a catalog what is called a Utility Kilt. It is made of THICK cotton Duck and has large Cargo pockets on the side. They come in MY size and cost about $100.00. Paul says those are quite popular for non-formal occasions. The kilt and sporan he has here are FORMAL and cost around $600.00. Kilts are NOT cheap! He says you were these at weddings, funerals, formal ceremonies, etc. Normally he just wears jeans, tennis shoes, and hoodies around town just like we do. I told him I will "Larn" him how to become an Ameri-Scot.
