*********Homemade Syrup If you're tired of paying almost $3 for one bottle of maplesyrup, try this recipe. It's better than store bought and acan be made for about a dollar.
1 1/2 C sugar3/4 C corn syrup1/2 C water1/2 t maple flavoring1/4 t butter flavoring (optional)1 lid of vanilla (optional) Heat over medium heat until clear. Take off the heat and servewarm. Save whatever is left over in your old, but cleaned out,syrup bottle.
