Hello, everyone.

I just purchased my first Dracaena! It has beautiful braided stems, but may have also come with serious health issues. The bottom leaves seem droopy and a few are yellow. Some of the top leaves have brown tips while others are completely brown and shriveled. I am worried the plant may have root rot--the soil was quite damp when I bought it. I have uploaded 2 pictures that may help:

Does it look like root rot to you? If it is, should I just exchange the plant or can it be saved?

Thanks in advance! :)

Hi Tommy Tiger,, wavy welcome to the Garden Helper grin
You didn't say How long ago you purchase it why But keep in mind, it's been moved from one environment to another so the chances of it being in shock is great.
Make sure there is enough room that the tips of the leaves don't touch anything, let it dry out a bit, don't fertilize it until spring, and once you find the spot for it don't move it again other than rotating it, to get even light on all side ( one every 3-4 days or so).
Mine liked indirect light, and I didn't water until the first 2 inches of soil was dry.
From what I can tell it's not root-rot, the main stems are "Mushy" (soft) as long as they are hard it doesn't have root-rot,, at least in my experience.
Over all Give it time to adjust to a new Home,, keep us updated ~ expect a few leaves to drop while adjusting!
