Hi,

I have had a rubber tree plant for several years and routinely move it outdoors in the spring/summer and indoors in the fall/winter. However, I left it outside a little longer than normal for Maryland and we had a lot of rain lately. Now 75% of the leaves are tan with brown and black spots on them and they are falling off. Should I just prune it way back to get rid of them?

Please help. Is this a fungus (Anthracnose?)

Did it get left out in frost? Or just over watered?
I would cut it back so the plant can put energy into new growth. If you leave damaged leaves and stem it will try to revive them and waste energy.
