Are we going to have a christmas card mailing list this year? If we are I'd like very much to be on it. I just got my christmas cards and I have my return address already affixed to the envelopes. I love giving and receiving christmas cards. I use the ones from previous years to decorate the house so I have an excuse to keep them year after year. I'm so in the mood since I decorated the house the other day.

Merry Christmas Everyone!

I was just thinking about this. I would love to exchange holiday cards again this year. If you need a volunteer to organize addresses and such I'd be willing.

We were given two hands to hold, two eyes to see, two ears to listen & two legs to walk. But why were we given only one heart?
The other heart was given to another for us to find.

I have my cards signed, sealed & addressed--oh yea there are stamps on them too- lol--now I am waiting for "the word", & then in the mail they will go.

OH, BTW: I used an old list--it was from last year I believe----

I'm sorry I haven't weighed in here much...I am having a bad week...or life...or whatever.

I would love to have the exchange...although I'm sure it won't be as big as years past...but we are still a family here and seems the majority want to exchange cards.

I'm very saddened that there are a few who can't get along here, which makes not just them, but everyone else uncomfortable. For instance, if I send "A" a card is "B" going to get mad at me? rolz

It's Christmas....and I have decided not to let that influence me. I am sending cards.

If Bill gives the go-ahead we will get this party started.

Gee, Cindy, I wasn't aware that people weren't getting along here. I must miss a lot of stuff!

I'm opting out of the card exchange because I do not have enough time, energy or $$ to participate.

Anyway, why should A, B, or even C care who YOU send cards to this season? I don't get that at all.

I hope those who exchange have a fun time doing it!

Most importantly, I hope you feel better each day...

Merme

That is a good idea, Diane---if/when you start a "Merry Christmas" Thread, I think I will add my good wishes as well.

I'm sayin' if you have your cards ready to mail then go ahead and mail them out.
There's no law that says you have to wait on an OK from a person (me) who can't even sit up long enough to post or read much on the forum.

Send them bad puppies out if you are ready!

I will send out waht I have so far today. When/if there is a list of names, I will see if there is anyone on it I missed---if there is, I have a few cards in reserve---- wavy

Tina--why not just add a greeting into Diane's thread when/if she puts one up. I am thinking of doing that myself----

I do usually greet in threads begun, Carol. I just must have a phobia about cards or something. Sometimes, I'll have a nice card to tuck into a packaged gift I'm sending off and forget to do the tucking. Or I keep forgetting to even purchase a card and the box goes out late with a scribbled note (or I find the scribbled note sitting after I get back from the PO). A regular card phobia.

so sorry for that Tina---but hey---I wish you the best----

and FYI: I had to re-open a few card envelopes (I think they were only to family) because when I was cleaning up, I found the small notes that I had written to the people. So see, more people that you have troubles with such things----

Some of my addresses are not any good anymore. So I'm afraid to send out the old ones. I hate getting a bunch of cards back. But it's kind of late to start on a big list.

Maybe next year I'll get an earlier start.

I received my first Christmas card of the season. Thank you Carol. And for the uplifting note, too. Even though I didn't sign up it is nice to know you are thinking of me.
