 For a few dollars and two or three hours of your time, you can put together a really nice Dish Garden or Terrarium and customize it to fit the recipient's personal tastes or hobbies! . .

I always think those are splendid gifts, Bill, and am always happy to give or receive them. I've never met anyone who didn't like them.
