I just got back from an out of town trip where I visited the garden section of Lowes and picked up a couple of plants. One is Dracaena Deremensis and the other is Dracaena Marginata.
I decided I'd look them up after bringing them home, because when I picked them out I had no idea about either of the two so, I just thought they looked really neat. The first one (deremensis) checked out nicely, and I got some good information on it. However, the second one....well NONE of the pictures I found resemble this plant. Honestly I'm fairly confused, and now I'm thinking they probably just marked it wrong. I'll try to get a picture up as soon as possible but really it is COMPLETELY different from anything I've seen so far. The leaves are fairly wide, dark green, with a sort of deep blue fuzz on them. This is really why it was so appealing to me, and now I look it up and can't seem to find anything that resembles it. If anyone has information it would be greatly appreciated. Like I said, I'll try to get a picture up tomorrow but no promises.

UPDATE!

I think I might have found the plant already actually...after a little bit more researching I stumbled across the velvet plant and I believe this may be what I have
I'm really confused as to how it could have gotten mislabeled, especially since there were MANY others around it exactly the same...however the row of these plants was placed right next to the row of Dracaena Dereminsis

That looks a lot like it
the stems are the same deep color
it really is more of a blue than a purple to me but maybe it's just a trick of the eyes
