Holy cr@p Merme....we never seem to amaze ourselves on the damages we are all falling into....we need our own doctor just for the "Gardenhelper incidents"

 Actually, I did it putting my foot down on the floor to stand. I cut myself on the corner of the metal bed frame...

It's been awfully sore, Carol. But there aren't any signs of infection. I emailed this picture to my sister the RN and she enlarged it well enough to notice a few helpful things for me.
Keeping it propped up properly will improve the circulation too as well as ease the pain, so I'm trying not to let it dangle.

well, I know how hard it i s for people with Diabetes to heal properly.
As a result I will worry until you tell all of us that it has been pronounced healed by a Dr. prayers of healing from me to you.

Yes, Carol, a key issue for diabetics to heal is immaculate blood sugar control. The tricky thing with that is that a trauma itself, even without infection, can make the blood sugar levels go awry. So all due vigilance is needed.
