Is it true if you pick up a baby bird from its nest, the moms will abond them?

Not necessarily If you see a baby bird out of the nest, just leave it there. Many baby birds leave the nest BEFORE they learn to fly and the motheres still take care of them.

Ok I read that is not true they will not know the difference, and that one should pick them up.

Thorny I guess if they were pushed out of the nest, their momma will push again, huh???
