I can't figure out where to find out how much memory I've used and what is left available to me. Please help?

Well, if you bring up the "Task Manager" (control alt delete) it shows what your physical memory usage is (in percentage); you can click on the "Preformance" tab and it tells you how much ram you have and a bar graph that shows hw much is in use.
