When my daughter asked what I'd like for Mother's Day I told her a red flower pot at Target and a bird feeder. When I'm feeling a little blue, like you've been lately, I play in the dirt and feel better.

I thought pansys could take the cold. Guess not. I never understood why you guys couldn't have at least one flower during the winter. Now I know. The camellias seem to be hanging in but that's it.

Pansies dont do well here for me. The larger types like you had probably arent quite as hardy as small ones. The Violas grow like nuts here. I started my salvia seeds indoors an they are good. Now Sad part, I lost my burgundy salvias seeds? I need some. Guess I will post on seeds here. b My one camellia is still green under the snow.LOL I didnt know it was hardy PS... When does yours bloom? I'm going to start my gourd seeds this month. I was hoping my stepdad would have the greenhouse finished but it either rains or snows every day lately.

I just found out last year when I tossed 4 out , that it didnt freeze...One was hardy . Bet your anxious. green house. I have one maple tree germinat. One pepper plant , with out any bottom heat.. i am doing perennials without heat this time, lots of them are responding. b PS... My horse isn't here, this is my Nitemare..

I have always left everything outside all year round but this winter has been so cold that some of the decorations have fallen off a few of my pots. Mothers day and my birthday are coming up so I know what I'll be asking for.

I had cabbage worms and squash bugs. I'll never plant cabbage again. Nothing I did worked for those awful worms. I'm gong to plant dill by the squash. Dill is supposed to help keep the squash bugs away.

We both had a terrible time with worms. She said she put a bunch of seven on her plants but the worms just kept coming. I picked them off by the bucket load. I got one large head of cabbage. Too much trouble for me. When I can plant it to grow already shredded I'll plant it again.
