The FIRST Ruby-Throated Hummingbird of 2010 was reported yesterday, Feb. 25 near Pensacola Fl. The NEW 2010 Hummingbird migration map is now available at hummingbirds<DOT>net. go now to follow their migration and to submit YOUR sightings!

thanks, Thorny--I will try to remember that---- sad to say I will not see any hummers until the first week of May.  edit: I j ust read Dodge's post below me, she is right--I too still have snow birds. Lucky for them I bought a huge bag of seed, huh ?

I've had my feeders up for about 10 days now,, This morning I saw one leave the feeder Just as I stepped out of the door

Yes You'd better Iggygal  We are very very close  They will all be at my house,  if you don't get them up quick  I found a map that said they have been spotted in Fort worth last week!

I've been busy watching and taking pictures of the Cedar Wax Wings....just put the nectar on and cleaned my feeders! They will be up within the hour!!!!!

Two more sightings of Ruby-Throated Hummers were reported yesterday, one in Texas and one in Florida.

I reported one yesterday,, I saw it fly off the feeder as I walked out of the door
