Hi all - I know I don't usually do the prayer request thread, because formal praying is not something that I do, but one of our members needs your prayers RIGHT NOW.

So if you would all please send out some strong prayers for that member I would greatly appreciate it.

No problem Jimmy - as I said in your thread, I didn't mention her name because I didn't know if she wanted me to or not. Thanks for posting for her!

The both of you are really good friends to Diane...

I'm requesting prayers for myself tomorrow. I'll be signing in the hospital at 9 AM on Tuesday morning and my procedure will begin at 11. If all goes as planned, I'll be discharged on Wednesday after dialysis. They like to keep me in-house & hooked up to the monitors during a dialysis to see how my heart responds to the demands of treatment after an angioplasty.

Hopefully I'll come back here on Wednesday evening to say hi.

Please keep Diane in your thoughts and prayers - she had to go back to the hospital because her blood pressure was very high. I missed her call, and haven't heard back from the text I sent her yet. I will update when/if I hear anything else.

Just spoke with her for a minute - she was at a pharmacy getting prescriptions filled and then on her way home.

Ok - it's an acute ear infection and a tooth infection. She was given antibiotics and hopefully they will help her feel better soon.

Wow all that at one time.

Heres hopin she recovers quicklyu.

Thank you for your prayers and concern,, I don't particularly feel better today But at the same time I feel hopeful that in the next few days I will for sure feel better. I have an antibiotic and some pain pills. Never have I ever had an earache so horribly painful it felt like a knife being jabbed up the roof of my mouth. The Dr said the ear had been infected for quite some time I thought my ear hurt because of a bad tooth, But Nope he said it was two separate issues and two separate pains but Feeling like one Huge intense pain since the sinus cavity connects the two. Geeeeeeeeze it really really Hurt, and still does, but once the antibiotic gets in me good it should relieve most of the pain
I'm not liking getting old

Hi all... got a request for you all, while I pray for everyone here I need some prayers for my Mom... she blew out her artifical knee she had replaced yrs ago- they had to order the parts for it and then they thought her heart wasn't strong enough to stand having surgery .. then they had to see if being in bed made her have blood clots.. finally decided all was ok... surgery was scheduled for 6 today but neice just texted doc is behind and won't be for and hour or so still- Mom is upset cause she hasn't eaten or had her meds so that makes her restless and want to walk which of course she can't... my sis won't call me directly- she texts carrie or sean and they call me... it's just so frustrating .. when my sis called me she wanted me to come out there .. told her I had had my eye surgerys and couldn't go... I can barely stand to be inside my house with drapes drawn- flying to Nevada is just not possible for me-- she got mad and won't talk to me...

Nana I am so sorry for you. it is sad that your sister cannot understand what yo uneed to do for you. There is no point in you risking your eyesite over this.

I am so sorry for your Mom & will of course pray for her.

Thanks all of you, Mom came thru it with flying colors- she is in recovery now... they had to add another bar to the artificial knee to help hold it in place.. from her knee to her thigh- she is going to be strong on that side now... they did tell my neice that she has had a mini stroke sometime in the last few months, she has sagging on left side of her face and her eye waters on that side...they don't worry about it much she said... to be expected at her age... she is going to be 89 this fall...

But sad too.. But 89 she sounds real spunky.

Hi all,
Mom is doing okay... was up in a chair for over and hour today... is still having pain and my sis actually called me to find out what shes is allergic to, I gave her all the numbers of her docs here to get the records to one there- she never did it... she would have all her records if she had- .. I guess they just aren't worried about the stroke- my sis is complaining already about them sending Mom to a rehab place cause it will be further away from her house- the hosptital has one where she is but they say she has to be able to do 3 hours of therapy to go to that one... guess they will see... I told her she would just have to deal as best she could with what needs to be done...
