Good morning all
When is the last frost for Petawawa,Ontario,Canada. When is it safe to start planting tomato plants outside.

I am surprised to see that my area says April 1 - 30th, as we've always been told here that it is May 15th. why


And even though we've been having temperatures around 70 the past few days, last night it was 34 at 4:30 when I was up waiting for my son to get home from NYC. BRRRRR!

Lynne--I am with you.

all my life I have waited until right before or right after Mother's Day (well after the first week of May.) But I am talking flowers.
I am thinking that veggies are more hardy??? --Bill ???

when I do lettuce, radishes & potatoes, I do it in late march-early April

I know that that May is too late to plant say spinach. My Tomatoes do not matter, as I buy largish plants. I am no good with seed.
