I just painted the whole house a few months ago...and I've done every single repair thing on every list that doesn't call for extra money.

BTW...it only snowed 3 inches...no call in for that little amount.

I am taking a break from working out there. It is warm and I was working on fixing micro-sprinklers live. I get wet but it doesn't feel bad at all. I don't much care for repairing them in winter.

Yes, about 50 acres to mess with. But getting water to those acres is the tricky part. I think I cultivate about 3/4 acre+. I have never measured it.

Good evening! We went to Joey's basketball championship game this morning. Very exciting, they lost but they played really well and the team they played against hasn't lost a game all season. They still had fun, were happy to make the championship game, and were all awarded with a candy necklace and a medal. I was so jealous, I want a medal! Afterwards we dropped him off at his after party, came home and made breakfast for the rest of us, picked Joey up from his party, and then I crashed. While I was out the kids were all busy spring cleaning their rooms. The girls kindly took my last load out of dryer for me. Maybe it wasn't kindness, they needed the dryer, but oh well, I'll still take it. Not too long after waking up from my nap it was time for me to start on dinner. I had an experiment in mind for my dinner. Turned out alright but it will need some tweaking next time I make it. I made pork chops, green beans, and garlic mashed potatoes for the family and now one girl is spring cleaning the bathroom, Joey's playing xbox live with his friends, Aros is reading political news, and I'm here. I just got a call from my brother and he was kind of sort of feeling me out for money to buy a plane ticket to California. He says he's going down there to drive back with someone to help her move back here. There's more to that story but I won't go into it here. I just told him that I was broke, he still technically owes me money, we'll see if he follows through on his promise to register us for our next race. Some guys just don't finish maturing. Anyway, tomorrow we're going to spring clean the living room and I'm going to do the kitchen and our bedroom. I'm so looking forward to having a nice super clean house again, it's been so long. With everything that's been going on here cleaning has not been our top priority. To those who are still up, hope you have a good night!

Hi, Cheryl. Jonni got a spring cleaning bug going in her room a couple weeks ago. I was shocked to my core. So far she has done a pretty good job of maintaining it. I have been hit and miss on the cleaning thing. Mine needs so much more than just cleaning though. Painting, carpeting, maintenance put off and the list goes on.
I am happier working outdoors than in right now.

Today I really need to shop for a couple of items for the coming week. A new alarm clock for one. I think our last power outage killed mine. Then milk and such too. Lowe's or Home Depot for a little lumber. I need to rebuild the roof of the gnome home.

so far it is just kinda "dribbling" rain outside today--which is good when you compare the hard rains we were supposed to get.

Dribbling is good. So many places are flooding so badly. Take care.
I planted shrubs, today and added more sprinklers to my water system. I didn't build that roof but I have the supplies for it. Maybe tomorrow. Now it is nap time.

Hi! I've been glued to c-span all day. Thinking about going for a run soon but before I do I need to use the potty and there's been a teen invading the bathroom for a half an hour now. Hopefully she's almost done. Other than that I've been pretty lazy today.

I couldn't stick to c-span but I've had various news on all day. It is fun to watch controversy and sweeping new stuff happening.
Carol, What is 3rd degree in rock stardom? It would be a nice hobby to regain an interest in for Rod though. I dated mostly musicians with stars in their eyes in college.

it is some phrase that a "inebriated" drummer thought up one night, after a band job, when he wanted to meet me and borrow a match. he was/is so shy that after my friend gave him his match he went back to the table with his friends.

if it has any real meaning I do not know what it is.

You are far from alone, Tamara. I am not too sure that even the people voting on it are completely understanding of it.
Also, if I understood it correctly on the late night report I heard last night, not 1 republican voted yes on the bill last night, although many of them just did not even vote on it. and so I wonder just what is in the bill and what it says will happen. Wish I knew..

However, I just figure since I do not have a say either way, I am not going to worry about it, as it will be what it will be.

Politics discourage me...it's hard to figure out what really doesn't interest a person...they do what they want anyway, no matter who you vote for....we're going through that here in our province right now..not one single promise they made was kept.

Yup, can you imagine you can buy a farm house on a one acre lot for $25,000 and pay only $600 a year for taxes and be just a 15 minute walk from me....now if there was only some work for Rod around here Oh to dream
