Is it a corn plant (Dracaena Fragrans)?

i didn't think it was...A corn plant has a bottom stalk without leaves(well I think anyway)...this one has leaves straight out from the crown above the roots. I remember it had a strange name on the tag...and I don't remember where I put it?

I am so inept when it comes to house plants. Unless they can be planted in the ground outdoors here, like scheffleras and some dracaenas. And even then I'm not good at what makes them unhappy when growing indoors.
