Looks like a mom and dad to me. The male has the red head the female does not. Very cute!!!! I've seen mine together a few times, but normally I always catch the male.

tHESE 2 ARE FREQUENT , BUT USUALLY ALONE.

wHAT CAN I USE FOR NEW SUET? I AM OUT OF ANIMAL FAT.

You have a male HAIRY and a FEMALE Downy there, Dodge. That's the FIRST time I have ever seen that combination. Interesting. I wonder if they are a mated pair and if so, will they have viable offspring?

Dodge. That is some fantastic photos that you have there.

Since it has warmed up a bit I have not seen my woodpeckers.--I guess they will wait until I put out the hummingbird nectar. My Downy seems to love it. why
