Just thought I'd introduce myself.

I'm a retired engineer living in a condo. Been growing since I can remember having been raised on a farm in Indiana. Before we retired my wife and I always had a house with a big back yard and plenty of room to garden, but now everything has to fit inside our Chicago Lakeshore condo.

Right now I have quite a few plants growing ranging from trees to tomatoes. My trees are sort of like Bonsai, but I do not restrict my roots in the small shallow containers that tradition Bonsai employs. The tomato is 1 single Mortgage Lifter growing in a coco-coir/DWC combination. I presently have 1 trelis flowering with maybe 2-3 being pollinated. Only time will tell with that!

Anyways, this is just a friendly "Hey there" out to all who frequent this forum.

Welcome to the forum! I'm glad to meet you!

My son and I have been container gardening for a couple of years now and find it terribly rewarding.

We were given two hands to hold, two eyes to see, two ears to listen & two legs to walk. But why were we given only one heart?
The other heart was given to another for us to find.
