Hello everyone, I'm new! My name is Jessica, Dodge your Hoya is lovely!!! I just finished chopping my Hoya at the base :( It was dying from white-flys I think, although they're not white... anyway, it was well over 10feet.. getting ready to bud, I've now separated it into several pieces, hoping it will take root and prehapes still flower!!

JESSICA ,

Welcome to ghelper.. thanks of the hoya compliment.

Mine had white fly last year , to remedy it , I got St josephs fertilizer an put that on the soil..........Seems to rid it .

It has a blossom on right now..Almost in bloom.
Boy they do spread an get nice an full. It is rose fertilizer an says right on the back for white fly.

Dodge - are you also fertilizing your hoya with that stuff? I still have 3 very large hoyas that have not flowered in the many many years that I've had them.

They are just plain old hoya leaves with no flowers - hopefully some day soon!

don't water while it's blooming,, or move it while it's budding , At least mine drop their buds when I do that in that stage,, I'm so glad it starting to bloom Dodge grin

Lynne I sure hope you get a spur on them ,, I would fertilize them now that it's spring maybe for you wait a couple more weeks. But superthrive won't hurt it now for sure
